Call for 2018 Interns!
The Global Mental Health Program hosts a competitive summer internship for undergraduates interested in the growing field of global mental health. Students will be exposed to a wide range of didactic seminars and experiential learning opportunities, will be mentored by 1-3 departmental faculty focused on various global mental health initiatives, and will gain extensive exposure for networking and shadowing within the healthcare environment. Limited to rising juniors and seniors in their undergraduate careers, the summer internship will run for 8 weeks from early June to early August, with students working 4 days a week with the GMHP. The summer internship is an unpaid experience, and students must be able to secure their own housing during their time in NYC. For those interested, please find the application link here. All applications are due February 23, 2018 and selected students will be notified of interviews and final decisions in the weeks to follow.
